Well, I suppose I've put this off long enough...... I'm greenCalibrator/Bailey/GC(when on the chatroom). I love writing, drawing/painting/sculpting/sewing/etc, film production, reading, science, costumes, computer-y stuff, using the "/" key, and slipping inside jokes/references into places they probably shouldn't be. Whenever I get into something, I tend to get really into it, to the point of probably scaring people off if I'm not careful. I also have a bad habit of coming up with intricate and elaborate ideas or projects and then abandoning them early on for an even bigger project. Such is the way of the world, I guess.
Some things you might or might not want to know about me:
-I love fantasy of any sort- after all, stories exist to let you get away from reality, and fantasy is the perfect escape.
-I've recently (re)discovered how awesome steampunk is.
-My favorite music genres are country, Christian(mainly the contemporary type), alternative (Coldplay, Imagine Dragons, Snow Patrol, OneRepublic, etc.), and BBC soundtrack(yes, this definitely counts as a genre). I also love the sound of violins and cellos.
Stories that have influenced my life in some way:
-Harry Potter
-the Warriors Saga
-the Guardians of Ga'Hoole(not the crappily written movie. I would also like to point out to anyone who read these that Twilight's 'battle chants' was actually rapping)
-The Inheritance Cycle
-Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit
-A Wrinkle in Time
-Maximum Ride
-Fahrenheit 451
-The Hunger Games
-Percy Jackson
-Green Angel
-White Fang
-Homestuck
-Doctor Who
-Sherlock
-V for Vendetta (only just saw it but holy crap)
well that was a lot longer of an intro than I planned... whoops:P
